Using feedback reports

Feedback reports summarize user feedback on meetings. Using the feedback reports, you can get a quick overview of what your users think of the meetings they have attended and view their comments. You can also perform quick gap analyses to focus on differences between how users perceive themselves and how other users perceive them.

For general information on generating reports, see "Working with dashboards".

Meetings Rating report

The Meetings Rating report summarizes the feedback on meetings for the selected users. It only focuses on user feedback on the meeting itself. User feedback on themselves and other meeting attendees is dealt with in the Hidden Strengths and Blind Spots reports: see below.

The chart shows the overall rating for the meetings displayed. This is the average of the ratings provided by the users selected for the report.

Hidden Strengths and Blind Spots reports

The Hidden Strengths and Blind Spots reports are so-called gap reports that provide a gap analysis highlighting areas where a user rates himself/herself lower or higher than others in the organization do. This can be very useful for aligning expectations in the organization, for instance in connection with employee performance reviews.

The chart in both reports shows the average gap between how the user rates himself and how others rate him/her. In the Hidden Strengths report, the gap highlights how much other users on average rate the user higher than the user does him/herself, while in the Blind Spots report, the gap highlights how much other users on average rate the user lower than the user does him/herself.

The table below the chart displays the following:

Peers: The average rating provided by the user's peers; that is, everybody except the user and his/her managers or direct reports

Managers: The average rating provided by the user's managers

Direct Reports: The average rating provided by the user's direct reports (if any)

All but Self: The average rating provided by all users except the user being rated

Self: The average rating of the user being rated

All: The average rating from all users, including the user being rated

Gap: The difference between how the user rates him/herself and how others rate him/her
